Russia – United Arab Emirates relations (Russian: Российско-эмиратские отношения) is the relationship between Russia and the United Arab Emirates.

Soviet-era relations

The Soviet Union and the United Arab Emirates established diplomatic relations on 8 December 1971.[1] In 1986, the Soviet embassy in Abu Dhabi was opened, and in 1987 the United Arab Emirates embassy in Moscow was opened.[1]
